Parenting Workshops

 

Time for Dad Series. Thursday, July 10. Isis Maternity Center in Brookline. 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. This class is a four week series. Cost is $130. Breastfeeding Class. Saturday, July 12. Mount Auburn Hospital at 330 Mount Auburn Street, Cambridge. 3:30 to 5:50 p.m. Through the class, couples will learn the pros and cons of breastfeeding. $60 per couple. Refresher Childbirth. Saturday, July 19. Adoption Information Meeting. Sibling Preparation. Saturday, July 19. Birthing Center at Emerson Hospital. Concord. This program helps children ages 2½ to 6 years old feel included in the arrival of a new baby. Each session is age appropriate and encourages children to share their feelings about being older brother or sisters, as well as a tour of the birthing center. Session for 2½ to 3 ½ year olds is from 10:45 a.m. to noon. and the 4-6 year old session meets from 9 to 10:30 a.m. For more information and registration call 978-287-3268.

 

Parents Forum. Saturday, July 26. 99 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge. 2 to 4:30 p.m.This workshop highlights Insights and Tools for Parenting with Less Stress by discussing 8 different family issues.
